HORS PISTES: Lewait as Musical Curator for Pompidou’s Fest

Lewait is working in a new artistic project as a Musical Curator for a Cinematography Festival from Paris to the world.

We are proud to announce Lewait’s participation at the Festival de la Imagen en Movimiento – Hors Pistes – Centre Pompidou Paris.

Hors Pistes travels the world and has passed through cities such as Tokyo, Venice, San Pablo, Reykjavik, Malaga, Istanbul, Havana, Bruxells, New York and clearly, the city of light. It is time for the Second Edition in Argentina and different artistic activities will take place this year during next November, having Lewait as Musical Curator.

Even though the festival will materialize during the 12, 13 & 14th of November, Lewait’s intervention began a few weeks ago with the pre-production process for articles related to the leitmotiv of the festival, being ‘out of the tracks’ (translation from the French to English) In addition to the articles written, enriched with multimedia material, two collaborative playlists were created on : , where Lewait invites regional artists to add their musical contribution justifying their choices by production/distribution modes or by the artistic conception in itself, among other aspects, and other one where the public in general participates, and where they may suggest songs to listen to/dance at the launching of the festival, which will be on Saturday 8/8 at Downtown Culture where Lewait has been the resident for almost 3 years.

This is just beginning and there are several ideas and surprises brewing for the coming weeks/months at this wonderful festival where Lewait name is directly associated with the prestigious Centre Pompidou in Paris.
