THESE POEMS AND THE WRITING OF THESE POEMS HAVE RENEWED MY FAITH IN MY CREATIVE PROCESS AND EMPOWERED ME TO BELIEVE IN MYSELF AND MY SOUL’S PROCESS. I HOPE WITH THIS BOOK I CAN CONTINUE TO LIVE INSPIRED AND INSPIRE OTHERS TO EMPOWER THEMSELVES THROUGH LISTENING TO THEIR OWN SOUL…THEIR OWN VOICE!

A four year writing journey has brought me to this place. The book she&i is a series of poems exploring the relationship between the I that you see and the she that I feel. In listening to that quiet yet determined voice within –I was able to express myself poetically in a new and profound way. The book and the design are very important to me, so that is why I am here during my design phase asking for your help in offsetting my printing and marketing costs. It is my goal and a long time dream for the design of the book to have the shape, weight and feel of a soft cover coffee table book. These poems have inspired me to reach for higher ground and through this endeavor I hope to inspire that emotion in others.

Lewait is now a cocktail too!
Lewait, who also happens to be the other half of BeatLounge (Luis Blanco) is a busy and prolific artist who has a very successful monthly Radioshow (Loungestyle) an album series (Loungestyle, Vol. 01 and Vol. 02) a clothing line and now, even a cocktail after his name!

He is celebrating his first 3 years as Resident DJ at Downtown, and that’s the reason for his signature cocktail’s birth by Mauro Marra.
